Peanut Butter  Layer Cake

Mix the cake batter

Beat together peanut butter, butter, and sugar in a stand mixer. Add the dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk.

Bake the cakes

Bake the cake batter in two 9-inch cake pans that have been buttered and floured. Cool completely.

Make the frosting

Beat together cream cheese, butter, peanut butter, sifted powdered sugar, and vanilla in a stand mixer.

Assemble the cake

4.

Top one cake with a layer of the frosting. Top with the second cake and evenly coat with the remaining frosting. Enjoy!
